**People Administrator**

**Job Purpose**

As a People Administrator you will be responsible for providing specialist coordinated support across the People Services function, including payroll, benefits, induction and on-boarding, leaver processing and general HR queries resolution. The People Administratorwill facilitate the provision of an effective People Team service to the business and undertake specific projects or tasks as determined by the People Support Team Leader.

**Key Accountabilities**

Manage the People Support Team inbox and helpline, providing first line advice and guidance to all internal customers in line with agreed SLA’s, escalating complex queries to the appropriate colleague in the People Team/escalation route as required.
- Action instructions for payroll processing and liaising with the payroll provider.
- Administration of company benefits and maintenance of the benefits platform.
- Administration and processing of relevant paperwork for the full employee lifecycle including on boarding, flexible working processes, maternity/adoption, paternity, learning and development, change management, leavers procedures.
- Data input and maintenance of the HRIS databases and intranet.
- Administration relating to new starter and on-boarding processes including provision of relevant paperwork, carrying out pre-employment checks and ensuring records are maintained via electronic p-files and the HRIS.
- Coordinating the new starter/induction processes to include, scheduling, employee invites and supporting the induction delivery.
- Generate ad-hoc and monthly MI and report requests.
- Allocation and monitoring of e-learning modules for company compliance.
- Maintenance of electronic training records.
- Promoting a self-service approach within the shared service model by ensuring all help materials and guides are up to date and available via the HR portal.
- Utilise the available MI and reporting data to provide a pro-active people service.
- Ensure all tasks are completed according to agreed SLAs and project plans.
- Ensure that statutory and Keoghs policies and procedures are followed.
- Provide support and cover to the People Support Team Leader and People Systems and MI Analyst where appropriate, as directed by the People Support Team Leader.
- Ensure confidentiality and security of personal, financial and employee data.

The above list is not exhaustive and the post holder will be required to assist with other matters as appropriate.

**Working Hours**

35 hours per week

Monday - Friday. 9am - 5pm with 1 unpaid hour for lunch.

**Location**

The primary location for this role is Bolton but there will be an opportunity to work on an agile basis in line with business and operational requirements.

**Essential Skills and Attributes**:

- Excellent customer service skills - proven ability to manage a high volume workload and demonstrate proactivity and initiative whilst delivering a positive customer experience.
- Experience of working to deadlines and delivering to timescales as determined by SLA’s KPIs or a project plan.
- Strong organisational skills.
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Excellent IT skills; proficient in MS Office to include Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
- Evidence of being a positive team player with the ability to co-operate and support the team and respond positively to change.
- Sound understanding and genuine interest in HR and its associated processes and procedures

**Required Soft Skills**:

- Problem Solving - ability to resolve queries and deliver sound results whilst under tight deadlines with strict adherence to various SLA’s.
- Teamwork - comfortable to work on own initiative as well as part of a team.
- Integrity - ability to deal with sensitive and/or confidential information appropriately.
- Self-Management - ability to remain professional and calm under pressure in an ever-changing environment.
- Communication - high level of verbal and written communication skills.
