We are looking for a motivated Digital Marketing & Content Executive to support our Leicester based client. This is a part time role requiring minimum commitment of 20 hours per week, and strong performers will have the chance to move into a long-term or permanent role.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys social media, newsletters, and content creation. You'll work directly with senior founders, gaining hands-on exposure to how a global venture is built. Day-to-day work includes creating social media posts, supporting our newsletter, researching on international trade opportunities, trends, regulations etc, basic admin tasks, and helping organise events. It's a bonus if you have skills in video editing, image design, podcast editing, or general content tools.

You should be confident in producing and optimising content across social media, email, and web platforms, with a strong understanding of digital analytics to measure performance and improve ROI.

You will be required to work from the clients Leicester based office for minimum 2 days a week.

Duties and responsibilities

  • Develop and manage engaging content for website, social media channels, email campaigns, newsletters, flyers, and press releases.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to produce multimedia content (videos, graphics, animations) that showcases services, case studies, and international trade updates.
  • Plan and execute social media campaigns across LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook, and YouTube, ensuring alignment with brand guidelines and tone of voice.
  • Monitor, analyse, and report on campaign performance using Google Analytics, Meta Business Suite, and LinkedIn Insights; optimise campaigns to maximise engagement, conversions, and ROI.
  • Manage and optimise website content and SEO performance, ensuring technical and on-page best practices are followed.
  • Conduct competitor analysis and market research to inform digital strategy and support lead generation initiatives.
  • Coordinate and execute paid advertising campaigns including PPC, Google Ads, LinkedIn, and Meta, with a focus on measurable results and cost efficiency.
  • Support the creation and distribution of targeted email and CRM campaigns using platforms such as Mailchimp, Beehiiv, ensuring effective audience segmentation and follow-up.
  • Align digital marketing activities with wider business goals, collaborating closely with sales, operations, and management teams to ensure consistency and performance tracking

Skills and experience

We are seeking a creative and analytical individual who can manage multiple digital campaigns while maintaining attention to detail and brand consistency. The ideal candidate will have the ability to understand product and service placement to create SEO enriched content, optimising both front end content and backend SEO.

  • 2+ years of experience in digital marketing, social media, or content creation.
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, or similar design tools.
  • Familiarity with CMS platforms (e.g., WordPress), SEO tools, and Google Analytics.
  • Strong analytical skills with experience reporting on ROI, conversion rates, and lead metrics.
  • Knowledge of CRM systems (e.g., HubSpot, Salesforce) and email automation tools.
  • Excellent writing, editing, and visual communication skills with attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
  • Experience with paid media campaigns and performance tracking.
  • Knowledge of B2B marketing and industrial sectors is a plus.
  • The candidate should be proactive, adaptable, and capable of collaborating with internal teams and founders to bring campaigns to life, while also taking initiative to explore new digital opportunities.
  • Excellent communication skills are essential, with the ability to translate data insights into actionable recommendations and engage both internal stakeholders and external audiences effectively
