Job Description
Job Summary
We are seeking a highly organised and detail-oriented Administrative Assistant to support our office operations. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing administrative tasks, maintaining efficient workflows, and providing excellent support to team members. This role offers an opportunity to utilise a range of office skills within a professional environment, ensuring smooth daily operations.
Responsibilities
- Managing incoming calls with professional phone etiquette and directing inquiries appropriately
- Organising and maintaining files, records, and documentation in both digital and physical formats
- Performing data entry tasks accurately using Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, and QuickBooks
- Assisting with scheduling appointments, meetings, and calendar management
- Preparing correspondence, reports, and presentations as required
- Take notes for disciplinary meetings
- Handling general administrative duties such as photocopying, scanning, and ordering supplies
- Ensuring the office environment remains tidy and well-organised to promote productivity
Experience
- Proven office experience or administrative experience is preferred
- Strong computer skills including proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Google Workspace applications
- Experience with data entry and clerical tasks demonstrating attention to detail
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively
- Good typing speed and accuracy to support efficient document preparation
- Demonstrated professionalism in phone etiquette and customer service interactions
