It’s an exciting time to join us as we scale our impact in London and beyond.About The RoleWe’re looking for a fast‑paced, hands‑on and experienced Talent & People Partner to join our growing People Team for an initial 12‑month fixed‑term contract, with a possibility to extend depending on business requirements. This is a hybrid role focused primarily on talent acquisition for our rapidly scaling business, while also covering essential People operations and processes. You will be the go‑to person for hiring and onboarding across the business, ensuring that we bring in the most high‑calibre talent quickly, whilst also creating a seamless, efficient and all‑round positive experience for new employees. It’s not a strategic or policy‑heavy role – it’s about execution, speed & making things happen. This newly created role reports directly to the Head of People.ResponsibilitiesOwn the end‑to‑end recruitment process for all roles, from sourcing and outreach to interview coordination and offer management.Partner with hiring managers to understand role requirements and quickly identify high‑calibre candidates.Build and maintain strong candidate pipelines to support rapid hiring needs.Conduct initial screenings and interviews to assess skills, experience, and cultural fit.Ensure a seamless, positive candidate experience throughout the recruitment process.Collaborate with the wider People Team to continuously improve recruitment processes, tools, and templates.People Operations & OnboardingCoordinate and deliver an efficient and engaging onboarding experience for new hires.Ensure all pre‑joining administration (contracts, equipment, system access) is completed accurately and on time.Support new starters with first‑week schedules, introductions, and check‑ins to ensure they integrate successfully.Maintain accurate employee records, supporting other operational processes as required.Help drive initiatives that improve team efficiency and employee experience within the People function.General / Team SupportAct as a flexible, hands‑on partner across the People Team to deliver operational excellence.Contribute to ad‑hoc People Team projects or initiatives that support the company’s rapid growth.Key RelationshipsHead of PeopleHiring Managers / Team LeadsWider People Team / Office ManagerFinance TeamFirst Three MonthsSuccessfully fill all key roles.Ensure all new hires are onboarded smoothly, with positive feedback from hiring managers and candidates.Establish strong working relationships with hiring managers and the People Team.Identify any areas for improvement in the hiring/onboarding process and suggest practical solutions within the existing framework.About You & Skills, Experience & QualificationsAt least 5 years experience in Talent Acquisition and People Operations, ideally in fast‑paced or scaling environments.Hands‑on experience managing end‑to‑end recruitment processes, including sourcing, screening, interviewing and offer management.Familiarity with onboarding processes and delivering a seamless, positive experience for new employees.Comfortable working within established People frameworks and tools, maintaining accuracy and efficiency.Strong relationship‑building skills with hiring managers, teams, and colleagues across the business.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Proactive, hands‑on approach; thrives in a fast‑paced, execution‑focused environment.Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.Collaborative, flexible, and willing to support the wider People team.People Skills & BehavioursAdaptable and proactive, able to manage shifting priorities and solve problems efficiently.Collaborative and communicative, working effectively across teams and keeping stakeholders informed.Comfortable working in a fast‑changing start‑up environment with all the ambiguities this presents: flexibility will be needed.We Especially Want To Hear From You If You HaveExperience within the Insurtech industry / hiring technical roles.Familiarity and understanding of UK employment law.BenefitsPrivate medical insuranceIncome protection insuranceLife insurance of 4 base salaryOn‑site gym and shower facilitiesEnhanced maternity and paternity payTeam social events and company partiesSalary exchange on pension and nursery feesAccess to Maji, the financial wellbeing platformMilestone Birthday Bonus and a Life Events leave policyGenerous holiday allowance of 28 days plus national holidaysHome office and equipment allowance, and a company MacBookLearning allowance and leave to attend conferences or take examsYuLife employee benefits, including EAP and bereavement helplinesFor each new hire, we plant a tree through our partnership with Ecologi ActionThe best coffee machine in London, handmade in Italy and imported just for usWe’re proud to be an equal opportunities employer and are committed to building a team that reflects the diverse communities around us.
