Job Description As a Technical Services Specialist, you'll play a key role in providing expert technical support and guidance throughout the project lifecycle — from specification and design to installation, testing, and commissioning. You'll ensure that all solutions are technically sound and meet client requirements, driving customer satisfaction and repeat business. Working closely with designers, specifiers, and internal teams, the Technical Services Specialist will: Support the design process. Produce architectural drawings, visuals, and daylight visualisations using CAD software. Offer technical advice and solutions to clients and partners. Deliver training sessions to raise awareness of the full product portfolio. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of building regulations, design standards, and certifications. Develop technical documentation and contribute to the technical knowledgebase. Identify new opportunities to support business growth. This is a hands‑on, varied role that blends design, problem‑solving, and customer engagement. You'll be part of a supportive, friendly team that encourages collaboration, open feedback, and professional development. Skills & Experience Essential: Minimum 3 years' experience in a design or technical environment. Working knowledge of construction principles, Building Regulations, and planning procedures. Proficiency in Autodesk AutoCAD (Revit experience advantageous). Strong communication and problem‑solving skills. Full UK driving licence and valid passport. Desirable: HND/HNC or Degree in Architectural Technology, Building Studies, or Engineering. Experience creating design solutions and technical drawings for commercial or industrial projects.
