Your challenges
As a Technical Project Specialist, you'll prove a lean and efficient design and detailing process from tender and configuration to delivery on site.
You'll collaborate closely with international Sales teams and our production colleagues in Germany. Providing drawings, take-offs and entering orders onto a variety of ERP systems used within the Group.
In this role, you'll be focusing on our VELUX Glazing Panels (VGP) business, supporting projects with precision, creativity, and technical excellence.
What you'll do:
- Providing design and configuration support through drawings (standard and bespoke).
- Creation of Production drawings, including both glazing panels and project specific flashings.
- Managing order process and inputting details into ERP systems and configuration tools.
- Create and maintain healthy relationships with Sales contacts.
- Maintain CRM records for projects.
- Provide technical and design guidance on project enquiries.
- Contribute to continual development of processes and systems relating to the management of the VELUX Glazing Panels.
Your Qualifications
You are a technically minded problem solver who enjoys transforming ideas into practical, high-quality results.
We imagine that you bring:
- Experience with CAD and project drawing.
- The ability to read and interpret architectural or construction drawings.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- A structured, organised approach with a focus on getting things right the first time.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and similar tools.
- Hold a valid passport and are open to occasional travel (approx. 2–3 nights per year).
It's a plus if you:
- Understand current building regulations.
- Confidence working with ERP and CRM systems.
- Proven experience managing order process end-to-end.
- Have experience presenting to architects or specifiers.
- Technical product knowledge, ideally within roof construction, façades, or glazing.
