Jarvie Plant is looking for a Hire and Service Coordinator to manage customer enquiries, coordinate our hire fleet, and ensure equipment is delivered, maintained, and returned efficiently. How This Role Supports the Delivery of Hire Solutions As a Hire and Service Coordinator, you will be the main point of contact for customers and internal teams regarding the hire and servicing of our equipment. You will take ownership of the hire lifecycle from initial enquiry, through delivery and maintenance, to collection, ensuring high standards and smooth operations. Key Responsibilities Act as primary point of contact for all hire and service enquiries. Manage the complete lifecycle of plant hire requests. Handle off‑hire notifications and coordinate return process. Coordinate maintenance and respond to breakdowns with service teams. Monitor equipment availability and maintain accurate hire status records. Provide customers with timely updates and required documentation. Ensure accurate and up‑to‑date records including agreements, charges, and administrative data. Maintain CRM and hire management systems such as InspHire. Generate and manage all hire documentation, including quotes, contracts, delivery, and return notes. Ensure compliance with company procedures, health and safety standards, and industry regulations. What Makes You a Good Fit Experience in a hire desk, coordination, or customer service role. Strong communication and organisational skills. Proactive, problem‑solving approach. Confidence using digital systems such as CRM and hire management software. Ability to manage multiple priorities and work well under pressure. Solid IT skills with Microsoft Teams, Word, and Excel. Eagerness to grow understanding of fleet operations and hire service.
