About the Role As a Senior Planning Officer, you will: Assess and manage planning applications, advise on enforcement matters, and manage planning appeals. Prepare reports and recommendations for Planning Committee and delegated decisions. Provide professional advice to applicants, agents, and stakeholders. Represent the Council at planning appeals. Contribute to service improvements and mentor junior colleagues. What We’re Looking For Knowledge of planning legislation and development management processes. Strong analytical, negotiation, and communication skills. Degree or diploma in Town & Country Planning (or equivalent) and eligibility for RTPI membership.
