Youll be working closely with an experienced and approachable finance team learning from them while also having the space to make the role your own. The business is in a growth period and has received significant investment over the last few years so theres real potential for progression here with a structured development plan in place from day one. The ideal candidate will be AAT qualified or CIMA / ACCA studying with some exposure to the management accounts process. Qualified by experienced candidates will also be considered. The role would someone looking to take that step up from an Assistant Management Accountant / Assistant Accountant role who has had some experience supporting with the production of the management accounts or an experienced Management Accountant who is looking for a new challenge in a more commercial stakeholder led environment. This isnt just a tick-the-boxes finance role. Its varied hands-on and the kind of role where youll get to see the impact of your work whether thats through supporting with financial planning working with stakeholders across the business or helping improve processes. Whats on offer Up to 35K depending on experience Hybrid working 3 days in the office 2 days at home 25 days holiday plus bank holidays and your birthday Regular social events and a genuinely supportive culture Study support Free onsite parking and high street discount perks A business that gives back including employee volunteer days Day to day you’ll get involved in Producing full end-to-end monthly management accounts Variance analysis and commentary for senior stakeholders Helping with budgets forecasts and internal reporting Ensuring the cashflow forecasts are produced and submitted to deadlines Attending meetings with internal and external stakeholdersFinance business partnering between finance and other departments Ensuring compliance with statutory returns Supporting junior team members and getting involved in training Balance sheet reconciliations prepayments accruals rebates Playing a part in the year-end audit and statutory process Identifying ways to improve systems reporting and processes What you’ll bring to the table AAT qualified part qualified or qualified by experience Confident working with stakeholders and explaining numbers clearly Strong month-end / management accounting experience Someone who enjoys improving processes and adding value A can-do attitude good attention to detail and a desire to keep learning.
