What Your Day Could Involve Taking a lead role in delivering high-quality care and support in a residential setting Acting as a keyworker, ensuring care plans are implemented and reviewed Supporting and coordinating the staff team, modelling best practice in social care Empowering children and young people to access local services and leisure opportunities Representing the service at reviews and meetings, promoting clear communication and teamwork About You You’re caring, resilient and motivated by helping children and young people reach their full potential. You lead with empathy, build trust through consistency, and bring out the best in others. You’ll have experience of working with children and young people, including those with learning disabilities or complex needs, along with strong leadership skills. Basic computer literacy and good communication are essential. You’ll hold, or be working towards, an HNC and SVQ Level 3 in Health and Social Care (Children and Young People). You’ll also need membership of the PVG Scheme and registration with the SSSC. You should be comfortable working within and supporting the values and ethos of CrossReach, which are rooted in care, respect and inclusion.
