Business Development Executive (Outbound Telesales Agent) DNA Payments is one of the UK’s largest independent, fully integrated omnichannel payments providers, enabling businesses of all sizes to accept payments through POS systems, payment gateways, e‑commerce and in‑app solutions. Role Summary We’re looking for Outbound Telesales Agents to join our growing call centre team. This full end‑to‑end sales role involves proactively reaching out to prospective customers, identifying their needs, presenting a tailored payment solution, and closing the sale yourself. The role is crucial for DNA Payments’ continued growth. Reporting into: Head of SME Contact Centre Sales Working hours: 37.5Working location: Hull Key Responsibilities Use a predictive dialler to make outbound calls to prospective business customers. Identify customer needs and clearly articulate the benefits of our payment solutions. Manage the full sales cycle – from prospecting and objection handling to negotiation and closing. Maintain detailed and accurate records of your pipeline and progress in our CRM. Handle follow‑up calls to progress prospects through the sales funnel. Meet and exceed monthly targets for revenue, conversion, and call activity. Collaborate with your team to share best practices and drive collective success. About You Highly motivated and target‑driven – passionate about smashing goals and closing deals. Proven sales acumen – ideally from a telesales, contact centre, or direct sales background. Tenacious and resilient – rejection doesn’t phase you; it fuels determination. Excellent communication skills – a natural at building rapport and winning trust over the phone. Curious and commercially aware – keen to understand both our products and the wider competitive landscape. Customer‑focused – honest, consultative, and confident recommending the best solution for the customer.
