CT1/CT2 in Trauma & Orthopaedics (November 2025) The department of Trauma and Orthopaedics is seeking to appoint a Trust Grade CT level doctor to join our busy team. You will work alongside 14 consultants and 12 specialist registrars, supporting a dedicated multi‑disciplinary team that strives for excellence in all aspects of the service. Overview You will join an established 1 in 8 orthopaedic on‑call rota and work with our core trainees, F2 grade resident doctors and two full‑time orthogeriatric consultants. The role also includes joint care for elderly patients on Cambridge Ward and a 1 in 8 orthopaedic rota with six CT/ two F2 trainees. Responsibilities Attend clinics, theatre, ward and on‑call duties, ensuring a balanced mix of elective and emergency responsibilities. Support day‑surgery and maternity services through innovative patient‑focused care. Contribute to research and audit initiatives, enhancing service quality and training opportunities. Qualifications Minimum 12 months NHS experience and MRCS. Evidence of contribution to research or audit is preferred. Commitment to training and educational opportunities within the Trust.
