We have recently been rated "Good" by CQC and continue to improve our services. This is an excellent opportunity for a Specialty Doctor to join our proactive ENT team. Responsibilities Undertake outpatient clinics independently, referring to a consultant when required. Provide senior level cover in the department, including supervision and teaching of less experienced doctors. Participate in the development of ENT services as agreed with the clinical lead. Develop and maintain collaborative relationships with medical colleagues in other specialties and participate in regular clinical meetings and other postgraduate activities. Actively involve in clinical audit and clinical governance. Ensure own practice is up to date, take responsibility for own Clinical Professional Development and participate in the Trust's Performance and Annual Review System. Take on appropriate management responsibilities and lead in service developments as appropriate to interests and experience. Essential Criteria Minimum of two years post‑graduation experience in ENT. Ability to produce good clinical notes. Good communication skills. FRCS/MRCS or equivalent GMC registration. Ability to run full‑capacity out‑patient clinics independently and efficiently, including both face‑to‑face and virtual working. High level of clinical skill and knowledge in ENT covering the breadth of the specialty. Ability to undertake audit/research. Desirable Criteria Ability to teach and enthuse junior medical staff. DOHNS/FRCS ORL qualification. Interview Process We do not conduct telephone interviews; applicants must be prepared to travel for an interview.
