Job Overview A Specialty Doctor ENT position at Royal Berkshire NHS Foundation Trust, located in Henley. Our culture is built on compassion, aspiration, resourcefulness and excellence. Main Duties Undertake outpatient clinics independently, referring to a consultant as required. Provide senior level cover, supervise and teach less experienced doctors. Participate in developing ENT services in agreement with the clinical lead. Develop collaborative relationships with colleagues in other specialties and attend regular meetings and postgraduate activities. Active involvement in clinical audit and governance. Maintain up‑to‑date practice; take responsibility for own Clinical Professional Development and participate in the Trust’s Performance and Annual Review System. Provide coverage, including face‑to‑face and virtual working as needed. Qualifications Essential Qualifications Minimum two years postgraduate experience in ENT. Ability to make clear clinical notes. Good communication skills. Advanced level of clinical skill and knowledge in ENT covering the breadth of the specialty. FRCS/MRCS or equivalent GMC registration. Desirable Qualifications Ability to teach and enthuse junior staff. Ability to undertake audit and research. DOHNS / FRCS ORL qualification.
