We also welcome flexible working patterns, including job share, for all vacancies. The Monitoring Data & Systems Team (MDS) manages important environmental monitoring systems and datasets. You will work closely with team members and support the Water Quality systems and data, and other systems as needed. Responsibilities Set up and manage users Support users and resolve issues, especially as we transition to the new My Environment application Update, improve, and maintain datasets Respond to internal and external data requests Support system improvement and upgrade projects Qualifications Experience working with large, complex datasets Willingness to develop and learn new technical skills and apply them across monitoring data and systems Motivated, organized, friendly, helpful, and detail-oriented, comfortable working in a dispersed team Proactive problem-solver Excellent written and verbal communication skills, able to convey technical information to both technical and non-technical audiences Ability to build and maintain strong relationships, deliver through others, and provide excellent customer service Additional Desired Experience / Skills Experience using and managing environmental monitoring data systems Experience with PowerBI, Access, Excel, Python, SharePoint Online, and R Working knowledge of water quality monitoring Contact and Additional Information Work location is flexible, but you must have a base at one of our offices in England and be present there. We offer hybrid home/office working, though some travel is expected. Interviews will be conducted via MS Teams towards the end of December / beginning of January. An apprenticeship is available for the successful candidate.
