Accounts Payable Officer – BankOur Client is an established European bank with offices in Central London.They are looking to recruit an Accounts Payable Officer with at least 3 to 5 years experience of working within Finance department and ideally within a banking environment.To ensure the timely and accurate processing of invoices, payments and employee expenses.To identify any breaks in the daily process and make recommendations to line manager.To monitor actual costs against target and highlight and variances in a timely manner.ResponsibilitiesProduction and Analysis of monthly actual vs budget cost managementManagement of Cost trend Analysis and highlighting items with a material impact to management.Assist with the annual cost BudgetRegularly update department SOP’sDeal with internal and external cost/supplier queriesPrepare monthly KPI reportManage the accounts payable systems V1, Ebis, Open Accounts, provide assistance to other usersArrange employee Barclaycards and processing of corporate card expensesReconcile all AP accounts with the GLOMonitor Head Office rechargesArrange monthly accrual and prepayment scheduleProcessing journalsEnsure the AP inboxes are being monitored on a timely basisChecking and clearing the nostro accountsProcess travel advance expensesSupplier Statement ReconciliationAccurately execute all controls within own area to minimise risk of policy, procedure, and/or regulatory breaches.Identify new risks/control gaps within own area and elevate accordingly to your Line Manager and/or Head of Department.Risk & Regulatory DutiesMaintain knowledge of all applicable regulatory requirements including the Bank’s Risk and Compliance policies and procedures and adhere to these to avoid exposing the Bank to undue risk.Report policy/procedure breaches and areas of potential non-compliance and suspicions promptly upon identification in accordance with the Bank's Risk and Compliance policies.You will Act in accordance with the FCA/PRA Code of Conduct.The salary for this position is £40K - £50K + Benefits.Location is Mayfair Central London.Please do send your CV to us in Word format along with your salary and notice period. #J-18808-Ljbffr
