Urology- Clinical Fellows ( ST1+ & ST3+ equivalents) Applications are invited for Clinical Fellows in Urology for NHS Tayside for a period of 1 year. This may be extended depending on satisfactory progress and departmental needs. The post holders will get excellent clinical exposure and research opportunities. These posts will be ideal for someone interested in gaining further clinical experience at senior resident doctor level in urology. This post is not recognised for training purposes however, those interested in applying for urology specialty training selection or portfolio pathway (previously known as CESR) to specialist registration will get support from the department. The post holders will be required to work under the supervision of consultants in the management of patients. The appointees will be expected to perform at a level equivalent to that of a Urology Resident doctor. Two posts of ST3 equivalent or above and one post of ST1 equivalent or above are available. These posts will involve exposure to a wide range of urological surgery and emergencies. The post holder will take part in 1:7 on call urology registrar rota.
