Clinical Teaching Fellow in Psychiatry

NHS Tayside is pleased to invite applications for Clinical Teaching Fellow in Psychiatry. This is a full-time, fixed-term position (40 hours per week) offering a balanced and well-supported combination of undergraduate medical education and supervised clinical practice.

The Clinical Teaching Fellow will play a central role in the delivery and development of the Dundee MBChB and ScotGEM undergraduate curricula. Postholders contribute to teaching, assessment, and broader Directorate of Medical Education activity while undertaking a funded Postgraduate Certificate in Medical Education (PGCertMedEd) at the University of Dundee.

To be considered, applicants must have achieved their UK foundation competencies, be at CT2/ST2/GPST2+ level with some UK experience in Psychiatry, and be fully registered with the GMC with a license to practice in addition to the other essential criteria detailed in the person specification. If currently in a training programme, applicants will need to seek out of programme (OOPE) approval from their Training Programme Director.
