**The Role**

This role exists to lead and drive through the initial implementation and adoption business phases, and subsequently the longer term embedding and robust BAU management of Microsoft Viva and integration of complementary digital tools. Initially, you’ll help drive the launch of Microsoft Teams and Viva into the business, coaching and advising communication managers and key stakeholders on new ways of working that will transform the way we communicate. The role holder will ensure that these ways of working are sustained and continuously improved.

This role will help Specsavers maximise its investment in its new communication and collaboration platform through the design and implementation of effective engagement and adoption activities.

You will engage with key stakeholders around the business to build strategies and implement activity that encourage high usage rates for all existing and future communication and collaboration platforms. In doing this, your key focus will be on how these platforms enhance and improve our overall communications effectiveness across the organisation.

At the heart of this role is the understanding of how our audiences want to consume content and building strategies to deliver communications in the most effective manner to meet that need and the objectives of the business - Optics, Audiology, Domiciliary and the UK/ROI/Sp support office.

**The experience**

A suitably experienced person will be able to demonstrate the following capabilities:

- Excellent interpersonal skills, including the ability to build and maintain effective business networks
- In-depth knowledge of digital communication platforms and content management best practice - including community management
- Knowledge of information architecture and user experience principles including techniques for improvement and measuring effectiveness
- Highly developed project management and organisational skills
- Advanced business and creative writing skills
- Experience developing, managing and delivering, at pace, measurable and highly impactful plans to engage stakeholders in support of business agendas
- Negotiation skills and a willingness to work and collaborate with others while maintaining a strategic focus
- High level of responsiveness, ability to make decisions and work autonomously
- Ability to understand complex business requirements and spot opportunities; a proven record of business analysis
- Problem solving skills, using data to find the root cause
- Results-oriented and self-motivated mindset
- Demonstrated ability to maintain performance under pressure or in circumstances of change or prolonged ambiguity

**What we do for you**

We offer a competitive salary and an excellent bonus plan - you will be entitled to two bonuses - one based on your own personal performance which is paid quarterly and a company bonus that is based on the performance of the business. You’ll receive a car allowance, be provided with private family healthcare and dental cover for yourself and partner, be entitled to permanent health insurance and life assurance, in addition to a generous pension.

You can work from home but we would also like you to collaborate with the other team members when its needed, visiting our offices in Nottingham, Southampton and Guernsey when required.
