Our client is an Automotive company based in the Fareham, looking to recruit a Supplier Quality Lead. Great opportunity to join an established global manufacturer.

**JOB PURPOSE**

To lead the Supplier Quality team in assurance of supplier product quality and the Quality Technician team in support of internal quality. Responsible for initiating the Defective Material Report (DMR) in case of supplier non-conformance, internal 8D analysis/support,manage scrap, sorting and rework of supplier parts, management of Customer firewalls, DMR management and reporting, process audits in relation to supplier non-conformance concerns, QCDDMSES/PPM reporting, annual validation and management of running changeson supplier parts into SMR. In addition, this role will also support the Supplier Development Engineer where needed and facilitate continuous improvement activity using cross-functional teams.

**RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Management and development of the Supplier Quality team/Quality Technicians.
- Interact with Manufacturing and Quality and supplier personnel to review supplier related quality issues.
- Resolve Supplier Quality concerns on current production parts.
- Report defective materials to supply base.
- Organise separation and containment of supplier suspect stock.
- Assure disposition of supplier scrap as defined by the procedure.
- Lead the supplier through the problem-solving process, assuring root causes are identified and permanent corrective actions are implemented.
- Verification of supplier corrective actions.
- Follow and report on status of corrective actions.
- With support from the SDE Team, arrange audits of suppliers in relation to quality concerns.
- Prepare and present supplier concerns for internal and external reviews.
- Preparation and presentation of reports as required by Management in relation to supplier activities.
- Monthly reporting for supplier performance reporting (GSPS) (QCDDMSES).
- Follow Supplier PPAP timing for current production parts engineering changes.
- Review and approval of supplier PPAPs for current production part engineering changes.
- Comply with the Health & Safety Policy and observe all the safety rules to ensure your personnel safety and the safety of others.
- Ensure that you comply and adopt the CANDO(5S) programme regarding the organisation of your work environment.
