WA Consultants is currently recruiting for an IT Business Systems Analyst for an established client based in Devon. Our client is looking for a candidate to play a key role in shaping and supporting systems and to make a real impact across the business. Key responsibilities: * Configure, maintain, and support essential line-of-business systems that power our operations and enable us to deliver cutting-edge logistics solutions. * Lead the planning, implementation, and testing of system updates, feature releases, and configuration changes — whether part of strategic projects or continuous improvement initiatives. * Roll out our standard system solutions and processes to new sites and customers, ensuring consistency and scalability across the business. * Migrate legacy systems and outdated processes to our group-standard platforms, unlocking efficiency and future-readiness. * Continuously refine system configurations and processes to ensure they’re fully aligned with business needs and delivering maximum value. * Build strong relationships with external system vendors to support solution delivery and resolve escalated issues swiftly. * Work closely with operational teams to tailor solutions that make work easier, more efficient, and more rewarding for our people. * Collaborate with other Technology teams to maintain secure, monitored, and well-supported systems across the organisation. * Define testing requirements, write scripts, and coordinate testing to ensure smooth and successful system changes and implementations. * Maintain clear and up-to-date documentation, including process flows, training materials, and support guides. * Contribute to the road map for system enhancements, helping to steer the evolution of our technology landscape. * Provide hands-on support during system changes and implementations, ensuring a smooth transition to business-as-usual operations. Essential criteria: * Minimum of 2 year’s experience of configuring IT applications – ideally logistics / ERP / TMS / WMS / Finance or HR systems – but other equivalent systems experience will be considered. * Confident in supporting users of varying technical ability. * High level of accuracy in builds and documentation. * Ability to manage workload and meet project deadlines. * Full UK driving licence, access to a vehicle insured for business use, and willingness to travel.
