Job Specification Day to Day:

* Manage sales orders and budgets.

* Generate quality leads and find new business opportunities.

* Convert opportunities into sales.

* Maintain key customer relationships.

* Meet targets set by the Sales Manager.

* Visit customers and distributors for new opportunities

* Self-manage and collaborate with the sales team

* Log and update opportunities in the CRM system.

* Handle general sales admin and conduct market research.

* Generating proposals and standard quotations.

Essential Requirements:

* Must come from an engineering background with at least 2 years' experience as a business development manager

* Technically minded and must come from an electronics manufacturing background

* Previously worked in the aerospace, automotive or marine industry

* A Degree or HND in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering

* Must be willing to travel within the UK and overseas

* Previous experience generating quality leads and finding new business opportunities.

Salary/Contract hourly/daily rate: Up to 55k
