As the Business Development Manager, you'll play a pivotal role in shaping and driving our growth strategy. Reporting to the Head of New Business, you'll lead a team to identify new opportunities, secure strategic partnerships, and deliver exceptional value propositions.
Key Responsibilities of the Business Development Manager:
Strategic Planning: Develop and implement strategies to identify new growth opportunities, increase revenue, and expand market share.
Commercial Modelling: Craft data-driven commercial models and business cases in collaboration with Finance teams.
Customer Relationship Management: Build and nurture strong relationships with new and existing customers, ensuring long-term success.
Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with internal departments to align business development initiatives.
Team Leadership: Mentor and develop a team of early-career professionals, fostering their growth and success.
The successful Business Development Manager will have:
Experience: 5+ years in business development, sales, or a related field, with team leadership experience.
Skills:
Strategic thinking and organizational expertise.
Strong client relationship management.
Analytical prowess with a data-driven mindset.
Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and communication skills.
Proven ability to lead and inspire teams.
Tech Savvy: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM tools like Dynamics.
