New Business Development Manager

£14.79 per hour | £30,000 salary

Onsite Parking | Rochdale Location

We are currently seeking a highly efficient and motivated New Business Development Manager to join our dynamic team at a large distribution company in Rochdale. This is an excellent opportunity for a driven individual to grow with a thriving company that values a close-knit, family-like environment.

This is initially a temporary position with the potential for a permanent contract, subject to a qualifying period, for the ideal New Business Development Manager

New Business Development Manager

Key Responsibilities:

Actively seek out new business opportunities through various channels and maintain strong relationships with existing clients.
Develop a robust sales pipeline to maximise potential opportunities.
Coordinate appointments for the Managing Director with prospective clients.
Handle any queries related to HM Customs.
Enter collections and deliveries into our in-house systems.
Respond to customer inquiries promptly and professionally via email and phone.
Provide support to the Office Manager with administrative tasks as needed.

Qualifications and Skills:

Prior experience in sales or business development.
Excellent sales and negotiation skills.
Ability to cultivate and maintain strong client relationships.
Confident and articulate in communicating over the phone.
Strong administrative abilities.
