My client is a leading PE-backed tech and digital transformation business specializing in Microsoft technologies, including Azure, AI, Data, and PowerApps. We help organizations modernize legacy systems for greater agility and efficiency.

Role Purpose

Seeking a high-performing Business Development Director to drive new customer acquisition, revenue, and market growth. The ideal candidate excels in technology sales, business development, and relationship building.

Key Responsibilities

New Business Acquisition: Identify and pursue opportunities, focusing on digital transformation and legacy systems modernization.
Sales Strategy: Develop strategic plans to achieve targets and expand the customer base.
Networking: Leverage industry events and networks to generate leads.
Client Management: Build strong relationships with key decision-makers and stakeholders.
Proposals: Collaborate internally to create compelling client proposals.
Market Insights: Stay informed on industry trends and competitor positioning.
Reporting: Maintain accurate sales forecasts and provide market insights.
Team Collaboration: Work with marketing, product, and delivery teams for consistent messaging.

Skills and Experience

5+ years in tech sales (focus on digital transformation, cloud solutions like Microsoft Azure, AI, or legacy systems preferred).
Proven track record of exceeding sales targets.
Experience in Insurance, Banking, or Financial Services industries preferred.
Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
Ability to work independently and within teams.
