Job summary This Wellbeing and Activities Coordinator role at Avery Healthcare's Butlers Mews Care Home in Rugby involves providing a wide range of engaging and stimulating activities to promote the physical, psychological, and social well-being of the residents.
The role requires a compassionate, enthusiastic, and dedicated individual who can understand the needs of older people, especially those with dementia, and plan monthly activity and wellbeing programs.
Main duties of the job As the Wellbeing and Activities Coordinator, your focus will be to provide a wide range of activities to engage and stimulate the residents' physical, psychological, and social well-being.
You will need to understand the need to promote the philosophy of privacy, dignity, independence, choice, rights, and fulfilment for all residents.
Other responsibilities include identifying the life history, needs, and preferences of residents, planning and submitting monthly activity and wellbeing plans, arranging activities and events, and maintaining a safe living and working environment.

Planning and submitting to the Home Manager- a monthly activity and wellbeing plan and a weekly overview.
Arranging activities, events, and outings, encouraging the involvement of staff, relatives, and visitors.
