You will have responsibility for the efficient management and leadership of the team in accordance with our existing framework, policies and procedures. You will be the first point of contact for providing support to the team members as well as ensuring we deliver a 5* customer service experience to patients.

We provide a wide range of services in our dental centres, giving our patients a variety of options and the opportunity for you to work with a range of treatments such as general dentistry, dental implants, orthodontics, composite bonding, veneers, oral surgery, facial aesthetics and more
Job responsibilitiesJob Responsibilities: Operational Follow all tasks as set out in the Centre Management Workflow to ensure good governance and compliance. Ensure the workflow is kept up to date at all times.Conduct audits alongside taking responsibility during internal and external audits/inspections.Effectively maintain equipment & manage reactive repairs in line with recommendations.Facilitate ordering new equipment as necessary.Manage appointment book and recall/referral systems.Ensure effective diary management.Oversee ordering and control of stock materials, equipment, stationery, cleaning etc.Effective IT system management.Effective communication with all key business relationships.Time management in line with practice needs.Website content co-ordination.Ensure full CQC compliance and compliance in organisational procedures.Ability to undertake nursing/reception duties as and when required.Manage customer service standards and ensure compliance with the Patient Journey.Actively manage complaints & patient feedback taking action where necessary.Team Management & HR Encourage and develop an engaged workforce through excellent communication and leading by example.Ensure all staff carry out their duties in line with organisational policies and SOPs.Effectively balance people, operational and activity requirements.Induction of staff and dentists.Carry out monthly one-to-ones with all team members (more frequently if required).Carry out annual performance and development reviews.Produce weekly rotas, manage sickness and manage holidays to ensure efficient staffing levels at all times. Ensure all records are accurate and up to date.Manage absence & sickness of staff and action accordingly.Employee Relations & managing conflict.Manage grievances and disciplinary issues.Encourage effective teamwork approach across practice/region.Ensure all human resource policies and procedures are adhered to by all staff.Support with annual team engagement surveys.Organise and run team meetings and ensure all staff are communicated with.Ensure staff compliance/attendance with CPD training.Ensure compliance with cash handling and banking.Invoicing administration.Monthly preparation and authorisation of employee payroll.Monthly preparation of Dentist pay and Hygienist/Therapist pay.Business Development Attend monthly group managers meetings/in-house CPD training.KPI management/reporting and implementation.Actively support in growing patient numbers & revenue.Manage any small projects as required to deliver new systems and procedures.Ensure the team is trained and fully informed about any planned changes.Person SpecificationExperienceExperience of leading people.Experience of managing in a healthcare environment.Knowledge and skillsYou will have excellent people and operational management experience with excellent leadership skills as well as being motivated and driven to succeed. You will have excellent communication, IT and organisational skills including the ability to prioritise whilst managing reactive business needs.QualificationsQualified in Leadership & Management.Disclosure and Barring Service CheckThis post is subject to the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act (Exceptions Order) 1975 and as such it will be necessary for a submission for Disclosure to be made to the Disclosure and Barring Service (formerly known as CRB) to check for any previous criminal convictions.
