You'll be working with the Practice Manager and Senior Clinical Director as well as supporting the reception and clinical teams in controlling debt at the practice.Your day-to-day tasks will include close communication with clients, successfully recovering and reducing outstanding debt via email, telephone and letters where necessary.
Alongside this you will be the first point of contact for managing invoice queries.You will be expected to act as a professional and approachable point of contact for clients, addressing any concerns they may have regarding their accounts while maintaining the practice's reputation and implementing debt recovery strategies.Outstanding communication and organisation skills are essential.Account reconciliation and excellent record-keeping skills are required; ensuring accounts are accurate and debt management activities are recorded.
Monitoring client accounts, carrying out assessments, delivering safe and legal business in compliance with company policy and procedures to achieve key performance targets and client satisfaction.Other tasks will include overseeing insurance claim requests and settlements, posting BACS payments and managing the Healthy Pet Club membership at the practice.Applicants will need to have an awareness of debt collection best practices and preferably some experience of working in credit control, debt recovery or a similar finance role, along with the ability to manage end-to-end credit control with a high volume of client accounts.Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel, for effective account tracking and reporting.
