We have an exciting opportunity for a Fleet Maintenance Manager to join our fleet team.

In this role you will ensure Commercial Vehicles, MHE and cars operated by Evri are maintained in a safe condition & we are working within current industry legislation and in line with our Operator Licence undertakings, as well as budgets and with maximum fleet availability.
You will ensure all compliance with regulatory requirements relating to Fleet and Health and Safety.
You will also develop a Strategic System to control nationally maintenance spend and make service led improvements to fleet uptime and availability You will be accountable for: Ensuring Fleet operates within budget limits, agreed challenge levels and Vehicle Off the Road time is monitored and a target of 4% is achieved.
Setting up maintenance contracts with repairers agreeing service levels and SLAs in line with our O Licence undertakings.
Development of an effective system to deliver maintenance control and engineering works validation to reduce costs, allowing PAYGO options v contract maintenance decisions Development of a strategy that enable the robust reporting and monitoring of fleet breakdowns and fleet uptime to improve service delivery , identify trends and actions.
Supporting the opening of new Evri sites, which will entail visiting local repairers & using Evri repairer assessment tool approve repairers and set up maintenance contracts.
Setting up Vehicle Defect Systems to ensure vehicle defects are rectified appropriately.
Meeting regularly with Depot and hub Managers, repairers & Supplier Account Managers to improve service levels & VOR ensuring VOR is kept within the agreed level of 6%.
Monitoring and measuring Vehicle Off the Road performance by compiling period end VOR report, report to all relevant parties across the business, along with actions Engage with site to provide damage and cost reduction plans.
Monitoring, reporting and checking maintenance spend for value for money and opportunity to reduce Monitoring and challenging Evri MOT pass rate with suppliers and repairers to ensure an optimum OCRS score & high standards are met.
MOT fails, PG9s and incidents are fully investigated and documented Maintenance suppliers are managed in all aspects and regular documented performance reviews held.
Meeting with industry regulators and advisory bodies to ensure Evri are equipped to meet the changes to industry legislation.
Producing maintenance planners for vehicles at all Evri depots & Trunking sites.
Arranging MOT's in order to minimise disruption.
Distributing planners to maintenance suppliers to ensure harmony of maintenance schedules between depots and repair agents.
Manage 2 Fleet support managers to support Compliance and VOR issues Ensuring the Evri Fleet meet their Operators License which will involve complying against the following factors: Drivers Hours and Tachograph Regulations Vehicle Loading Driver Licensing This role is agile and involve travelling to various sites Why Join our Team?

Skills and Qualifications Full UK Driving license.
Technical qualification, to at least HNC level, in motor vehicle engineering and MHE, member of the Society of Transport Engineers, Have or working to National Certificate of Professional Competence in Road Haulage - preferable Experience of managing a large commercial vehicle fleet, including management of Operators Licences Transport and equipment legislation Experience in auditing legislative compliance.
Have experience in dealing with appropriate government agencies (DVSA, Logistics UK , HSE).
Computer literate with knowledge of Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
