Financial Controller route to FD Location: Antrim Salary: £60-65k neg plus benefits McKinty Associates Ltd has been retained exclusively to find an experienced senior finance professional to join a long privately owned business who trade across NI, ROI, GB and Europe.
Working as part of the leadership /executive team you will manage the day to day finance and management accounting function as well as developing robust financial controls and MIS.
The role will report into the FD with the opportunity to move into the number one position in the future.
This is a fast paced manufacturing business.
Their client portfolio is varied, and they are growing through acquisition as well as organically.
Main duties Manage a team of 3 long standing finance staff and lead, coach and mentor the team Preparation of statutory accounts and liaison with auditors as required Preparation of management accounts with commercial commentary and presentation Preparation of budgets, forecasts and cashflows Work closely with commercial and operations team in offering commercial decision making support Manage organisations bank accounts and working capital management.
Multi-currency management Oversee the completion of monthly payroll for the site.

100 employees) Manage all regulatory returns including VAT and PAYE Complete payroll for Directors Monthly Engage and lead project work as required Deputise for Senior Managers, as and when required To drive continuous improvement through working collaboratively with colleagues Development of Financial IT systems including reports on stock, WIP etc The ideal person Technically strong with the drive and creativity to develop business analytics and management information.
IT skills will be strong especially Excel and MIS IT systems Strong leadership with the ability to foster and develop knowledge sharing Qualified Accountant with excellent experience working with shareholders and management teams Proven ability to deliver business improvement In return for your excellent experience, you can expect a very varied and rewarding role and gain experience in not only finance but also in many commercial areas including insurances, acquisitions etc.
