At VanRath, we are seeking a Senior Financial Strategist to join our team in Country Antrim. As a commercially astute hands-on Financial Controller, you will manage the day-to-day financial operations, providing strategic guidance and robust financial reporting.

  • The role comes with a competitive salary of £65,000 - £80,000 per annum, plus bonus and benefits package.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Management Accounts: Preparation of management accounts and month-end close for the group.
  • Financial Reporting: Prepare and manage monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
  • Internal Controls: Develop and enforce internal financial controls and procedures.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Ensure compliance with tax laws, accounting standards, and other regulations.
  • Audit Coordination: Liaise with external auditors during financial audits and implement audit recommendations.
  • Financial Analysis: Analyze financial data to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for improvement.

About You

  • Qualified Accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA).
  • Proven experience as a broad hands-on Financial Controller is essential.
  • Proven experience of effective planning and organization skills.
  • Experience of providing financial information at senior level.
