Our flexible Production unit based in Stevenage, Herts offers 60,000 square feet of state-of-the-art manufacturing and office space with flexible, highly skilled, and knowledgeable team producing electronics for major industries. Nemco believes that its team is the true beating heart of the business.

We are looking for an enthusiastic Business Development Executive with the ability to win profitable business with new customers in new and existing markets.

Competitive salary depending on experience plus commission Pension Scheme Excellent working environment Career progression Key Responsibilities of the Business Development Executive: To carry out prospecting in both current and new markets to acquire new qualified leads Managing new opportunities from lead, RFQ to contract award Driving profitable sales growth in line with targets for new customers Provide a plan for customer meetings and strategic partnerships with potential customers Developing and maintaining strategic account plans Undertake market research and analysis and provide reporting on the results Contribute to bid management, reason for wins and losses Maintain and track opportunities with the CRM and ensure the sales pipeline is updated and real Provide accurate sales order forecasting in long and short term, realistic and provide supportive evidence to substantiate the forecasts To instigate meetings, both on-site and off-site with potential and current customers to ensure that the Nemco "services and capabilities" are fully conveyed Utilise social media for selling opportunities, networking and business relationships Attend company exhibitions and trade events, assist with event planning when required Skills & Experience Required: Previous experience in similar Business Development role Knowledge of electronics / engineering processes advantageous Highly driven with a proactive approach to business development Have strong interpersonal skills to instigate and manage meetings with potential customers both on-site and off-site Educated to Degree Level is preferred Strong communicator both written and verbal Creative and strategic mindset Ability to adapt to changing market conditions and company needs Must be IT literate to produce professional RFI responses and presentations What's Next?
