We operate across multiple sectors, including defence, energy, and health. We are looking for IT and Cyber Security Manager join our Operations Team as we go through our next phase of growth,
The Role:
As IT and Cyber Security Manager you will be required to support the Chief Technical Officer in the management of Sirius IT Infrastructure including supporting the development, upgrade and maintenance of IT infrastructure, tools, processes and procedures for the execution of internal and external facing projects of varying size and complexity across Sirius and Sirius Digital software related sectors.
As the designated Cyber Security Officer you will be responsible for oversight and compliance with cyber aspects of information security including undertaking cyber compliance reviews, managing cyber related security incidents and assisting in remediation of information security incidents.
This role will also be responsible for the training and awareness of all staff with respect to the cyber security risk profile within the business and best practice use of cloud services within the company.
Responsibilities will include:
User support – issuing kit, fixing issues, day to day trouble shooting Project and delivery support – creating test environments, Dev Ops, Secure by Design for standalone requirements, enabling specific software/hardware and enabling access to project team sites. Technical Management, stakeholder engagement, ensuring budgets estimated and accounted for in annual business planning cycles and accreditations and standards maintained – Cyber Essentials Plus, Secure by Design, ISO 27001. Cyber incident response and investigation. Technology Strategy – Responsible for the development of a technology strategy for Sirius making best use of existing technology stack and presenting options for technology refresh CTO forums - Lead for CTO forums for gathering technical requirements and managing IT and Cyber risks within the business Delivering end-to-end project management of technical change projects according to best practice principles by planning, executing, and closing projects according to strict deadlines and timescales. Providing effective stakeholder management, communications management, risk management, resource management, scheduling and monitoring and reporting on technical change projects. Maintaining working relationships with project teams and third-party suppliers. Maintaining Cyber Essentials Plus, Facilities Security Clearance and ISO 9001 accreditations. Leading attainment of ISO27001 certification status.
About You:
A technically astute IT professional who has significant demonstratable experience operating in a range of project environments of varying scales. A demonstratable track record of working in a consultancy and software environment. Demonstrable experience of the implementation, configuration and maintenance of Microsoft 365 Cloud services and Applications including Sharepoint, MS Team, Microsoft Azure. Advanced skills utilising IT effectively in project management including use of IMS related software and systems. Operating in compliance based environments including, ISO 9001, ISO 27001 Implementation of ISO27001 compliant systems and services Essential Skills and Personal Attributes
Be able to adapt and provide flexibility in a dynamic and ever-changing environment. Previous experience managing multiple concurrent technical projects through the full lifecycle simultaneously. Have practitioner experience in a relevant sector. Have strong communication, presentation and written skills. Be able to travel to different sites across England. Other Requirements:
Candidates must have an existing right to live and work in the UK. Candidates must be willing to undergo an internal baseline personnel security standard check prior to starting their employment with the company. Candidates must be willing and eligible to complete a United Kingdom Security Vetting (UKSV) security clearance application to the Security Check (SC) level upon starting their employment with the company. To gain SC Clearance you will normally need at least 5 years' UK residency. What we offer
