We are a small team and our employees work together in an integrated way, under the leadership of the Chief Executive Officer. Through our employees we aim to enhance the reputation of the club locally and on a national basis both on and off the pitch.

The post holder will support the use of technology throughout the club. The Information & Technology Assistant will work closely with staff, including the Senior Management Team and external facility users. The requirements of users will be determined, and appropriate practical solutions will be suggested which may include working with external providers and partners.

The post holder will provide first-line IT and systems support throughout the club.

The key duties include:

- Working in conjunction with the club managed IT provider to troubleshoot IT issues with customers, clients and other staff members
- Facilitate staff onboarding and system orientation for new and existing users.
- Resolve user account issues.
- Facilitate device procurement and onboarding of staff
- Configure new devices to be compatible with the club’s network and systems meeting the staff requirements.
- Organising repairs when necessary for IT equipment
- Ensure IT assets including hardware and software are tracked through the club asset register.
- Ensure club owned hardware, associated software and data, are returned to the club when a staff member departs, or an appropriate financial penalty is imposed.
- Install, maintain and support new software installations.
- Provide training and guidance to users where required.
- Perform routine system operations.
- Work with colleagues across the business to provide internal audio-visual support to events, working with external stakeholders to identify their requirements ensuring a first-class customer experience.
- Responsible for conducting tests/checks on all required AV equipment 24 hours prior to all home matches and other events at Home park Stadium (on an agreed basis).
- Provide technical support to marketing/media and hospitality departments at all home matches and other events at Home Park Stadium (on an agreed basis).

Other responsibilities:

- To adhere to the values of Plymouth Argyle FC as stated in Appendix 1
- Always act with utmost good faith to Plymouth Argyle FC
- Devote full attention and ability to fulfilment of the duties required by the role
- Other duties as reasonably requested by a member of the senior management team
- To work closely with partners to maintain good relationships
- To work with colleagues within the organisation to maintain good relationships and collaborative working practices
- Carry out general office duties
- Active participation on continuous professional development and the appraisal process
- To undertake such other duties, training and/or hours of work as may be reasonably required which are consistent with the level of responsibility of this job.
- Present a professional image when dealing with both internal and external contacts and partners, acting in a professional manner at all times.
- To safeguard and promote the welfare of all children, young people and vulnerable adults.
- To be vigilant and support all safety and security operations
- Promote the brand identity at all times

To undertake any other duties not detailed above commensurate with the level of the post.

**Education**:

- IT training to RQF level 3

**Experience**:

- Working with computer operating systems, hardware and software (E)
- Project management and service delivery (E)
- Working with a diverse range of staff across an organisation (E)
- Delivery of audio-visual production at events (D)

Special Skills and Knowledge:

- Knowledge of a range of business systems including Epos Now, Shopify, Ticketmaster Sport XR, Zonal Aztec, Xero, ApprovalMax (D)

**Salary**: £23,000.00-£25,000.00 per year
