We are seeking a talented and passionate Sous Chef to join our culinary team, helping to create nutritious and delicious meals that support peak performance and recovery.
Assist the Head Chef in the preparation and cooking of high-quality, nutritious meals tailored to the dietary needs of professional athletes Collaborate on the creation of diverse and balanced menus, ensuring a variety of options that cater to different dietary requirements and preferences Supervise and mentor junior kitchen staff, ensuring high standards of food quality and kitchen hygiene are maintained Assist in the ordering and management of kitchen supplies, ensuring freshness and minimising waste Maintain strict adherence to all health, safety, and hygiene standards in the kitchen Support the culinary team in catering for special events, including team meetings, staff functions, and guest visits About you: Proven experience in a professional kitchen Culinary Arts degree or equivalent professional qualification preferred Proficiency in various cooking techniques and styles Strong organisational and multitasking abilities Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Knowledge of nutrition and dietary requirements for athletes is a plus Passion for cooking and a commitment to culinary excellence Ability to work in a fast-paced environment Flexibility to work varied hours, including evenings and weekends as needed At Levy UK & Ireland, we take pride in fostering a workplace culture that celebrates diversity and promotes inclusion.
