Welcome to Word Monster and the Monster Academy
We are a growing virtual medical communications agency and training provider.
We're looking for a freelance virtual assistant to support us with our highly successful medical writing training department, known as The Monster Academy.
We run medical writing courses for individuals (science grads, doctors, nurses, pharmacists, vets), agencies, and pharma companies.
The amount of work will vary each month depending on how many courses we are running.
We're looking for someone to start in January 2025 for around 8 to 10 hours per week (e.g.
~2 hours per day Mon to Fri during normal UK office hours).
This contract will be extended on a monthly basis, depending on business needs.
Requirements: At least 5 years' experience working in a busy administrative/PA role Experience using a Learning Management System would be an advantage Able to work to deadlines and under pressure Use initiative to solve problems An excellent team player Set up as a sole trader or limited company Job requirements: The main requirements of this role are to support the Head of the Monster Academy with all aspects of course administration.
This includes: Ensuring all training students have an excellent experience throughout Communicating and collaborating with the team to ensure effective running of courses Main point of contact for all new course queries Responsible for managing the Monster Academy inbox, and directing queries to the appropriate person Organisation of filing for all students on OneDrive Sending out materials/welcome packs Managing LinkedIn alumni groups Supporting with administration of LearnWorlds (LMS) platform Ensuring homework is in on time, updating team on what needs to be marked/reviewed Booking in tutorials for Head of Monster Academy Collecting and chasing feedback Sending out final certificates
