Distribution Sales Manager - Functional Food Ingredients Our client is a pioneering company specialising in naturally derived ingredients aimed at enhancing human, animal, and plant health.

Their products are sold through exclusively appointed distribution partners.
The company is proud of it's continuous growth, achieving an impressive 20% year-over-year increase in sales.
Job Overview The Distribution Sales Manager plays a critical role in the global strategy, focusing on managing and nurturing relationships with distribution partners across the USA, Europe, India, and Korea.
This position requires a blend of technical expertise and commercial acumen, where the selected candidate will provide both commercial and technical support to distributors and end customers.
The successful candidate will leverage their experience in functional ingredients to drive sales and enhance customer satisfaction, contributing significantly to the employers ongoing growth and success.
Key Responsibilities Manage and develop relationships with distribution partners in designated regions.
Provide commercial and technical support to distributors and end customers.
Identify and pursue new business opportunities to expand market share.
Collaborate with the marketing team to design effective sales strategies and campaigns.
Conduct market research and competitor analysis to inform strategic decisions.
Deliver training sessions and product presentations to distributors and clients.
Monitor sales performance, providing regular reports and feedback to senior management.
Act as a liaison between the company and distribution partners, resolving any issues that may arise.
Attend industry events and trade shows to promote products and build relationships.
Skills Exceptional relationship-building skills with a focus on customer satisfaction.
Strong technical knowledge of functional ingredients in food science and chemistry.
Excellent communication and presentation skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Strategic thinking and problem-solving capabilities.
Strong analytical skills to interpret market data and make informed decisions.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM software.
Requirements Bachelor's Degree in Chemistry, Food Science, or a related field.
Proven technical sales experience in the functional ingredients sector.
Experience managing distribution partners is highly desirable.
Willingness to travel internationally as required.
Fluency in English; knowledge of additional languages is a plus.
Strong track record of achieving sales targets and driving growth.
