Scheduling Support / Service Desk CoordinatorLocation: (commutable from Reading, Maidenhead, Bracknell, Slough, Wokingham)Contract: 6-month Fixed Term (potential for extension or permanent role)Salary: £26,000 – £28,000 per annum (depending on experience)Shift Patterns: Rotating shifts between 07:00–15:30, 08:30–17:00, and 11:30–20:00Rota: Tuesday–Saturday or Sunday–Thursday, with office days Tuesday to Thursday.About the RoleWe’re working with a growing technology services provider who deliver nationwide maintenance and support to major IT and infrastructure clients.This position plays a vital role in their operations team, ensuring engineers, equipment, and parts are efficiently coordinated through the company’s scheduling system.This is not a helpline or triage helpdesk role. It’s a scheduling-focused position where you’ll manage incoming service tickets, allocate engineers, arrange parts, and keep everything running smoothly behind the scenes.Key ResponsibilitiesManage and schedule incoming service tickets using ServiceNowAssess each job to determine if parts or engineer attendance are requiredCoordinate engineers’ workloads and availability, ensuring service levels are metLiaise with internal teams, suppliers, and clients to confirm details and progress updatesLog and maintain accurate records of each job from start to completionSupport the dispatch of replacement parts and ensure timely delivery to engineersPrioritise tasks and maintain service quality in a fast-paced environmentAbout YouYou’ll thrive in a role that blends coordination, organisation, and communication.
