Are you experienced in IT Technical Support, looking to join a growing company and an established IT team? We are looking for IT Technical Support to join our Service Desk to act as the single point of contact for all IT Service contacts and can collaboratively participate in major incidents, problem management, day-to-day incidents and requests. This is the perfect opportunity for an innovative individual who ensures they know exactly what is going on in the tech space and can use that knowledge to make recommendations to the wider business.

Main Duties and Responsibilities

  • Commercially working with service desk tools and technology, such as ITSM, remote access and knowledge resources.
  • Troubleshooting and resolving customer issues on hardware and software. In addition to performing advanced remote troubleshooting through diagnostic techniques and pertinent questions.
  • Completing daily system checks, providing cover for the daily backup and rotating as required. Maintaining workstations, networking equipment and servers, including IT stock for emergency replacements.
  • Managing customer expectations, providing timely updates appropriate to SLA’s and prioritising workload to meet strict deadlines.
  • Working closely with the support teams to resolve ongoing issues and assist in the recovery of any major system failures. Assisting colleagues in the resolution of issues or tasks.
  • Sharing knowledge to the team as and when required

Technical Comptencies & Skills Required

  • Knowledge or certification of best practice frameworks (such as ITIL, ISO20k) for the delivery of IT services
  • Systems Management via SCCM and Intune
  • Client and Server Troubleshooting
  • Confident in answering calls and emails from our colleagues around the business.
  • Knowledge of network Setup, Management and Troubleshooting
  • Basic SQL Knowledge
  • Device hardware knowledge and experience
  • Knowledge/Experience around the Microsoft Dynamics suite, CRM, Field Service, and F&O.
