Job Title: Senior National Account Manager (Retail)
Reports to: Head of Retail
Location: Joseph Heler Cheese, Nantwich, Cheshire
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM - 5 PM
Salary: Up to £75,000 (dependent on experience) + competitive bonus and car allowance

Key Responsibilities
As a Senior National Account Manager, you will:
- Drive Strategic Growth: Develop and execute channel strategies that align with our ambitious growth goals in the Retail sector.
- Achieve Sales Targets: Deliver new business opportunities and meet volume and margin expectations.
- Build Strong Relationships: Manage and enhance trading relationships with key accounts, focusing on both Own Label and Brand products.
- Collaborate Across Teams: Work closely with supply chain, operations, technical, marketing, and innovation teams to align on customer needs and streamline processes.
- Market Analysis: Analyse market trends and customer data to identify new business opportunities and respond proactively to competitor activities.
- Negotiate Effectively: Secure favourable contracts and terms of trade to maximise profitability.
- Performance Reporting: Provide regular insights and reports on account performance to senior management, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
- Long-Term Planning: Maintain a strategic, long-term perspective in account management to align actions with both business and customer interests.
About You
We’re looking for candidates who have:
- Extensive Experience: Proven track record in commercial roles within food manufacturing for the UK Retail sector.
- Strong Analytical Skills: A deep understanding of costing and pricing strategies.
- Exceptional Negotiation Abilities: Strong skills in relationship building and networking.
- Cross-Functional Knowledge: Familiarity with supply chain, technical, finance, operations, and marketing functions.
- Excellent Communication Skills: Ability to present ideas clearly and effectively at all levels of the organisation.
