We have an exciting opportunity to welcome a Territory Manager to support further business development and sales throughout the UK. In this role, you will be responsible for promoting and developing profitable revenues by visiting hospitals and clients to building meaningful sales relationships. The successful post holder will join a small team who identify and maximises revenue streams within their regions whilst ensuring clients receive a seamless and professional approach promoting the utilisation of the best technical and medical solutions for their requirements.

 

Primary Responsibilities: 


  • Be responsible for establishing and developing client interfaces, nurturing relationships and gaining trust and confidence in you, our products and the wider organisation.
  • Required to support, manage and maintain the organisations service offering.
  • Have a keen understanding to manage and monitor existing clients spend working in conjunction with the UK Sales Manager and Customer Care Team.
  • Schedule and attend customer meetings at as early a stage as practicable to ensure a thorough understanding of their requirements and to work with them to identify potential solutions.
  • Project manage all solutions from inception to completion, including technical aspects, installation, financial and management and ensure you manage and devise necessary quotations and appropriate follow-up.
  • Meet all agreed customer KPI’s to their complete satisfaction.
  • Complete all reports in a timely manner offering the customer the most suitable and economical solutions.
  • Ensure that you acquire and maintain an in-depth knowledge of the product range and services we offer, keeping up to date with changes in technology and development in the customer’s industry sector and our own.
  • Present as organisation ambassador attending exhibitions and trade shows as appropriate.
  • Communicating performance against defined targets.


Raising the Profile:


As an ambassador of the business, we are looking for somebody who is self-motivated and a positive thinker with a passion for driving sales. You will need to manage a busy workload within the parameters of other team members and be a proactive ‘can do’ team player. You will receive appropriate training and play a key role in within the business. This is an exciting time of organisational growth and allows for autonomous working.

 

Knowledge and Experience:


  • A degree in Biomedical Sciences or a related discipline is desirable.
  • Proven sales history with a mixture of prospecting and client visits.
  • Knowledge or experience of the cytology/histology is advantageous.
  • A results-driven individual with a passion and drive to exceed targets.
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills (written and verbal).
  • Excellent time management, planning & organising skills to ensure efficient and effective daily activities.
  • Competent IT user (Microsoft Office Packages), sales management systems and internal systems).
