Role Summary/Scope

Lifecycle Oils is seeking a motivated and results-driven Sales Territory Representative to promote and sell our used cooking oil collection service, fresh cooking oil deliveries, and grease traps within a specific geographic region. This role plays a crucial part in driving revenue growth and expanding our customer base.

This position will be responsible for a designated region of approximately 30 miles in radius around one of our Microsite operations.

Key Responsibilities & Duties

  1. Identify and pursue new sales opportunities through cold calling, networking, and other lead generation techniques.
  2. Utilize provided cold data to follow up on sales leads and develop them into potential customers.
  3. Stay knowledgeable about our oil products to educate customers on their benefits, ensuring informed decision-making.
  4. Understand customer needs and challenges, presenting our supply/collection solutions as the best option.
  5. Manage the timely and accurate completion of all CRM system requirements to track and manage sales leads and customer interactions.
  6. Close sales deals and achieve or exceed sales targets.
  7. Pass on leads that cannot be closed to the Telesales team for follow-up, gaining customer agreement for future contact.
  8. Record customer details to enable proper servicing and successful handover to Customer Services after the first sale.
  9. Maintain strong relationships with clients.
  10. Stay updated on industry trends, market conditions, and competitors' offerings.
  11. Provide customer/market feedback to ensure our solutions remain competitive and aligned with customer needs.

Experience, Skills & Qualifications

  • Car owner (or willing to acquire) and Driving Licence holder – essential
  • Sales experience in a similar/field-based sales role is necessary. Experience in the Hospitality sector is a significant advantage.
  • Confident and capable in working with IT systems, with the ability to document activity in systems.
  • Proficiency in CRM software and other sales tools is an advantage.
  • Effective interpersonal, communication, and influencing skills.
  • Confident, self-motivated, results-driven, and goal-oriented.
  • Strong negotiation and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to work independently and manage your own schedule effectively, while being an effective team member of the wider sales team.
