We seek a driven, results-oriented Business Manager to lead our Futures service line - a Hire Train Deploy model offering tailored training programmes for graduates while enabling them to work on Digital, Data, and Technology projects with our market-leading clients.

Key Responsibilities:


Service Line Management

  • Take full ownership of our Futures service line, ensuring it achieves KPIs, revenue, and profit targets.
  • Oversee the graduate training programme's design, delivery, and continuous improvement.
  • Ensure all service delivery aligns with the company’s values, promoting a culture of collaboration, transparency, and client-focused excellence.


Business Development & Sales

  • Drive business development efforts by working with the Team to identify and pursue new opportunities.
  • Build and maintain relationships with senior leaders in client organisations, understanding their needs and presenting the bespoke service offerings as a valuable talent solution.
  • Lead sales presentations, client pitches and contract negotiations.
  • Expand existing relationships to secure long-term partnerships and increase revenue growth for the service line.


Leadership

  • Lead and manage a high-performing team, ensuring alignment with the company’s values and meeting service line goals.
  • Support the career development of the team, offering guidance, mentoring, and opportunities for growth.


Client Relationship & Contract Management

  • Build strong, long-lasting relationships with clients.
  • Lead contract negotiations, ensuring that agreements are transparent, fair, and uphold the company’s values.
  • Serve as a point of escalation for any client issues, resolving concerns in a way that prioritises ethical and professional service delivery.


Risk & Performance Reporting

  • Regularly report on the performance of the Futures service line to the Leadership team, including revenue, profit, and progress towards KPIs.
  • Identify and manage risks that could impact the success of the service line, implementing solutions that minimise disruption.
  • Ensure compliance with industry regulations and best practices, while adhering to the organisation’s ethical and compliance standards.


Continuous Improvement

  • Identify opportunities to improve the Futures programme, refining the onboarding, training, and placement processes to better serve both graduates and clients.
  • Promote a culture of innovation and continuous improvement.


Qualifications and Skills


  • A consulting, business management, sales or project delivery background, ideally in financial services or government sectors.
  • Proven experience in business development with a strong focus on building client relationships and driving growth.
  • Demonstrated ability to grow a business area, achieve revenue and profit targets, and meet KPIs.
  • Strong client relationship management skills with a track record of securing new business and managing contracts.
  • Experience managing high-performing teams, with an emphasis on career development and values-based leadership.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills, with the ability to influence senior stakeholders.
  • Strong organisational and problem-solving skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Any experience in Hire Train Deploy services and/or Graduate Development Programmes will be well received but is not essential.
