Service Planner

An exciting opportunity has arisen to be a part of the service administration team for Atlas Copco tools and industrial assembly solutions customer centre located in Wolverhampton. You will plan the day-to-day work schedules, of our field service engineers, ensuring that all planned service requirements are met in a timely and efficient manner. You will report to the Service Operations Manager.
Your role:

Administer the forward planning of all open orders, ensuring that the department service requirements are met in a timely and efficient manner.
*
Effectively manage the use of the SPIRIT Field service workflow.
*
Support the Service Administrator(s) and set the Engineers' work schedules to maximise efficiency and minimise WIP.
*
Ensure the orders are correctly allocated and released to the engineer prior to the visit date.
*
Ensure all specialist tooling (calibration equipment) is available to each engineer to enable them to carry out the allocated tasks.
*
Liaise with customers by phone or e-mail to arrange and confirm the service visits, and ensure they are fully aware of the work and the date the work is to be carried out.
*
Be responsible for providing customers with all relevant risk assessments, method statements and engineer certifications as required.
*
Monitor and record the progress of all customer orders to ensure work is fully completed, and any additional work is planned and completed in a timely fashion.
*
Maintain all orders within the SPIRIT, to ensure all work is correctly allocated, so that quality reports can be gathered via SAP/SPIRIT reporting facilities.
*
Regularly liaise with the Field Service Engineers, Service Sales Managers and internal departments to expedite customer requests.
*
Regularly liaise with the Operations Manager and Field Service Engineer Team Leader in order to highlight and resolve any operational / planning problems effectively and efficiently.

Collate information from the Field Service Engineers to accurately record and maintain customer records and information.
To succeed, you will need:

Experience working in business administration is essential.
*
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
*
You set priorities according to importance and urgency, you fulfil tasks in a cost-efficient way.
*
Experience in a service-related field with customer interaction will be an asset.
*
Knowledge of the company's SPIRIT service management system
*
Must be proficient in MS365.
*
Good English and Maths skills.
*
Experience working with SAP and excellent telephone manners.
*
Must be a UK resident and have a valid UK work permit.
