The Supply Chain Team are looking to fill the role of **Senior Planner **in their Wolverhampton facility. The responsibilities of the Senior Planner is to provide a Production Plan to meet customer demand within site constraints, and to control the inbound supply of Raw Materials to support the execution of the Production Plan. The Planner will work Monday to Friday, 07:30am - 16:00pm.

IPL Wolverhampton formerly known as Plastic Bottle Supplies, is an industry manufacturing specialist of HDPE Plastic Bottles with a 20 plus year history of servicing many successful businesses within the UK. IPL Wolverhampton manufactures fully recyclable products with post-consumer recycled options available.

**Position Title: Senior Planner**

**Location: Wolverhampton**

**What you will bring to the role**:

- Meet or exceed target OTIF of Production Plan (98%).
- Create and maintain Shop Orders in the ERP system.
- Plan and prepare the production plan/schedule to achieve customer requirements.
- Working closely with the logistics coordinator, ensuring that products are delivered efficiently and on time.
- Load Work Centres with Shop Order demand in an efficient manner to reduce tool changes and colour changes where possible.
- Communicate utilisation of key equipment and advise bottlenecks.
- Maintain supply of adequate Raw Materials to meet the requirements of the Production Plan.
- Communicate supply shortages and engage Vendors in regular meetings about ongoing supply.
- Liaising with the Production Manager and HR Department to ensure staffing levels meet requirements.
- To plan safety stocks and target stocks in line with customer demand.
- Manage relationships with Commercial and Customer Service team.
- Review Customer service issues daily with Customer Service.
- Plan manufacturing effectively.
- Set inventory targets based on Customer service targets and replenishment cycle.
- Provide supply forecasts monthly to key suppliers.
- Ensure new products are managed into the business effectively.
- **Technical **- Experienced in the use of ERP software (ideally IFS) and planning tools to meet customer demand. Experience of Procurement activities and maintaining vendor relationships and supply.
