GSL Education are currently recruiting on behalf of one of our friendly and welcoming primary schools located in Salford. We are looking for a dedicated and highly motivated individual who can provide high-quality support to SEN pupils in their specialist provision setting.
Job Description:
• Full time role – 8.30 – 15.30
• Starrting ASAP and in the new year
• Support pupils with special educational needs (SEN) and implement EHCPs
• Establish positive relationships with pupils, acting as a role model and addressing individual needs
• Support classroom preparation, assist in lesson planning, and manage resources
• Assist with routines, transitions, behaviour management, and promote inclusion

Qualifications and qualities
• You must have previous experience working with children, including those with additional needs
• NVQ Level 3 in Teaching Assistance or equivalent qualification/experience (not essential)
• Knowledge of child development, learning processes, and strategies to overcome learning barriers

The successful applicant will have experience in working with special needs children, however we will consider those with experience outside of the classroom, and those that have worked with adults with learning difficulties
