Job Role:

Together with a senior colleague, this role’s aim is to maximise the support given to all trading partners.

*

There will be liaison with company suppliers both locally and internationally to ensure the required gemstones are ready for sale in whichever format or finish clients request.

*

Additionally, as this client distributes to the retail marketplace in the UK and Ireland, it is expected that you will be on hand to assist with trade buyer enquiries. Consequently, you will be processing orders, liaising with internal and external accounts teams, and arranging the secure delivery of purchased precious items.

*

The business attends several trade shows each year, as well as one overseas, and it would be helpful to the Directors if this appointee could attend, enhancing the flow and rapport established online and over the phone.

*

As part of a compact staff unit, participation and input towards marketing initiatives that could accelerate customer sales outcomes are actively encouraged.

Requirements:

*

You will need to be a fluent administrator, with an approach that sees every task through, and be comfortable working alongside luxury consumer goods.

*

There will be a multitude of tasks competing for your time, so you must be well organised and keen to find solutions with accuracy and speed.

*

Telephone and online etiquette should appear outwardly effortless, but be underscored by real efficiency and commitment to the standard that the best suppliers should deliver.

*

There are frequently areas of support that require departmental leadership, which could range from uploading new images to websites or creating timely e-shots/customer correspondence to generate incremental business.

*

Our client also invests in ‘on-the-road’ representation, so whether a company employee or sales agent, you will ensure all are well-informed about inventory and have the necessary organisational support to ultimately deliver sales.
