Behaviour Support Assistant

Tradewind Recruitment are currently looking for an experienced Behaviour Support Assistant to work at a mainstream Primary School in Luton This 2-form school is looking for an educator who can make an instant impact on the behaviour of their most at-risk students. This is a full-time role, which will run for the duration of the school year.

Your role will be working with children with challenging behaviour throughout the school on a 1-1 basis. You will run sessions with them focusing on improving their behaviour and decision making. You will also be working closely with the class teachers and other learning support staff to advise on best practice around behaviour.

This school benefits from a strong leadership team who invest heavily in the well-being of their staff. You will be joining a tight-knit team where everyone works together to ensure that the children are making good progress all year round.

To join this school and be successful in this role you will need the following;

Strong experience in a school with a focus on behaviour
Confidence leading and speaking to teachers to provide feedback, advise and direction on the best course of action with each individual child
Legal right to work in the UK - Sponsorship not available for this role
