Job Role

Job Summary

The successful candidate will work alongside the teacher to create an effective learning environment, use initiative to lead learning, and provide feedback to pupils to encourage participation and development of skills for independent learning.

Key Responsibilities
  • Work with the teacher to differentiate between the relative strengths of pupils and provide targeted support.
  • Model and reward good behaviour in accordance with the school's Values and Behaviour Policy.
  • Reinforce the values of good behaviour for learning in support of the teacher's aims for the lesson.
  • Be adaptable and flexible to the needs of the school and its pupils.
  • Have a good level of Maths and English to support children in Year 5/6.
