What You'll Do:

Investigate and resolve complex council tax cases, ensuring accurate billing and collection
Monitor payment arrangements and take appropriate action to recover overdue amounts
Communicate with customers in a timely and professional manner, providing guidance and answering inquiries
Collaborate with other teams to share information and improve processes
Identify and report potential fraud cases
Assist with the implementation of new systems and procedures as required
Stay up to date with legislation and attend training sessions as necessaryWhat You'll Need:

Experience working in a similar role, preferably in a local government setting
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Excellent attention to detail
Effective communication and customer service skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Proficiency in using computer systems and software
